Author
Josh Tinkey
Josh Tinkey is a Florida-raised, Hawaiian-shirt-loving father of two who is also a firm believer that flip-flops are appropriate footwear in any season. A man who has never met a cruise ship he didn’t like, Josh has sailed the seas with his wife, two kids, and just about every willing family member he could round up—including his first voyage to the Bahamas, which sparked the idea for Cayson.
Josh now lives near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he writes, reads, and plans his next voyage.
Illustrator
Ted Jones
Ever since he was a kid turning the pages of The Berenstain Bears, Sid Hoff books, and Dr. Seuss adventures, Ted Jones dreamed of creating stories through pictures. Today, after more than 20 years as an artist and illustrator, he still believes every illustration should invite readers to look a little closer and imagine a little farther.
Inspired by nature and classic Impressionist paintings, Ted now lives in North Carolina with his family. He loves painting, gaming, discovering the perfect cup of coffee, and, of course, cruising to new destinations with his family.
